China, Qin State (250-220 B.C.) or later, cast solid bell shapes weights (2), probably cast in Gaonu (present-day Yanchuan of Shaanxi) of the Qin State during the Warring States Period, type as a broad squat type, 42mm wide, 60mm high and 43mm x 59mm (illustrated), with clapper one with ring support (420 and 395 g) both with raised Chinese inscription on the edge; and from a similar period 2 x bronze solid bowl shaped weights each with a clapper 40mm x 52mm and 36mm x 47mm (width x height) (168.47 and 149.27 g); together with a square shoulder rounded flat based spade with handle (possibly struck in silver), (12.09 g) 64mm high, 37mm wide with handle, unlisted (cf.Coole 144-173 for type) (illustrated).
