New South Wales, five shillings or holey dollar, 1813, countermarked on a centrally pierced Charles IV eight reales, Mexico City Mint, 1789FM, with the bust of Charles III (Die I/11-A/9, unlisted in Mira-Noble). Has been plugged and repaired at the top, otherwise fine with clear countermarks both sides and very rare.

Traces of the reverse of the Spanish American eight reales on the reverse, die axis at 20 degrees, even grey tone, rim bruises and reverse with old scratches from rim to base of 'F', one scratch goes further towards the 'H' in the centre, otherwise good very fine and rare, especially in this condition.
