Portugal, WWI, Army steel helmet, a rare example of the pattern introduced in 1916 and fielded in the western front by Portuguese soldiers, styled on British private purchase helmets introduced just prior to 1916, with nearly all its original khaki painted finish, with original basic liner, wool material lining, leather sweatband held in place by threaded cord through holes near the flare of the bowl, original leather chinstrap. Some service and age wear to chinstrap, overall extremely fine and rare.

USA, Indian wars model 1872, Infantry enlisted ranks kepi, navy blue wool body, original black leather visor, replaced reproduction black leather chinstrap secured by original brass eagle buttons, to the front a brass hat badge 'F' Company, 14th Infantry Regiment, United States Army and corps insignia to the top of the kepi, original leather sweatband, brown silk lining to the interior. Overall service and age wear with some areas of light mothing, fine.

First helmet comb with damage and separation to the joining seams, second helmet top of comb separating along re-soldered sides and partially peeled back, fine. (2)

France, c August 1914, French Army Infantry uniform ensemble, model 1877 Infantry great coat badged for the 39th Infantry Regiment, dark blue wool body with red collar facings and brass 'pompier' flaming bomb buttons, the rank of corporal displayed as two white stripes to the upper cuffs of each sleeve, to the shoulders an added pair of red fringed epaulettes comtemporary to the period; model 1873 water bottle, no cover; model 1873 enlisted ranks belt with plain brass buckle; WWI pattern equipment leather suspenders with replaced brass fittings; pair of reproduction model 1888 ammunition pouches; lebel 1886/93 bayonet with brass hilt and matching leather bayonet frog; red wool jodhpurs suitable for display along with reproduction black leather ankle boots. All displayed on a modern torso mannequin, very fine.

Germany, WWI, trench body armour, a full set comprising the Stirnpanzer (helmet brow plate), an original example of the pattern introduced in 1916 with no rust or damage and showing traces of the original painted finish, both leather head straps have been post war replaced, but in period style; an original German M1916 steel helmet, a shell only and having been a Bulgarian re-issued helmet post war serves as a perfect frame to display the brow plate; Grabenpanzer (body armour) breast plate and the three matching lower aprons, the upper breast plate with original rivets to the shoulder straps, all connecting straps replaced, repainted a long time ago and close to the original colour. Hand painted name 'Dan Millett' inside of breast plate, no rust or damage and with maker's mark of three rings of Krupp, very fine and rare. (weight 20kg)

All displayed on a modern torso mannequin, very fine and rare.

Germany, WWII, Luftwaffe Bomber Flight Clasp, mid-late war issue, in zinc by Funke & Bruninghaus, Ludenscheid, maker's mark 'F&B.L' on reverse in raised letters and with wide flat pin assembly. This clasp has lost virtually all its original silver finish, it exhibits very nice detail to the winged bomb, oak leaves and wreath, winged bomb with traces of its black anodized finish, very fine/extremely fine.
