Antique brooch, in silver marked for Chester 1913 by maker, 'M&J', features the sentimental symbols as found on Mizpah brooches, namely a cross (faith), an anchor (hope) and a heart (charity), and at sides is a gold star inside a circle of ship's rope, on back of brooch bar inscribed, 'N.E.C.T. July 19??'. Very fine.
