Blaxcell, G., bill of exchange, handwritten, Sydney, July 13th 1812, two hundred and fifty pounds, payable to Captain Joseph James, on or before 24th day of September 1812. Accompanied by a printed form of a notice of protest printed by George Howe, Sydney 1813, signed by Ellis Bent, Judge Advocate of the Territory of New South Wales, showing that Blaxcell had not paid by 16th August 1813. Stained at right hand side, good fine and extremely rare. (2)

The earliest known share certificate from Australia's first bank. Very fine and extremely rare, a most important example of early Australiana.
