Blaxcell, G., promissory note for ?250 to Captain Josh James payable 24th September 1812 and July 13th 1812, protested for non payment 16th August 1813 EB (MVR p15) together with protest form signed by Ellis Bent, Judge Advocate (MVR p16). Usual water stain on the right edge of both, otherwise very fine and rare. (2)
