WWII Hawker Hurricane, machine gun cartridge case and parts from an aircraft that crashed in Spean Woods, Buckinghamshire in 1940, with labels made by I.C.Dunlop who collected the items. Good. (lot)

WWII items recovered from air crashes in Britain and other ordnance, includes metal tag with impressed details on the left, "3 Rounds/Shell,/75MM Guns/With Fuze,/P.D.,M48/Lot Rop" and on the right, "C.W.M./Complete/H.E.,M48/M1897,M1916,/M1917,M2,M3&T7/Reduc ed/11 - 1"; Butter Scotch tin with crumpled strips of paper/textile presumably remnants from plane crashes; Butter Scotch tin with a large quantity of spent bullet heads and cartridges; Butter Scotch tin containing metal fragments from plane wrecks and a name plate marked, "Gothaer Waggonfabrik A.G.Githa/Abt. Flugzeugbau 56" and other impressed details (This was a German company that made the Gotha aircraft used principally as a night bomber). Good. (lot)

Australia, WWI, Souvenir of Voyage on an Australian Transport, a small folder featuring a photo of an Australian Transport ship and on one page is printed a message from Pte. H.W.Cuffe, 19th Reinfs., 21st Btn., Australian Imperial Forces, On Active Service, and inside the front cover is written in pencil, "To Miss Hazel Coleman, from Pte. H.W.Cuffe, 21st Battalion, A.I.F., Abroad, 22:7:17". Good very fine.

Taprell Dorling DSO, RN, 1946. The first in a battered condition but interesting, the second very fine, the last fine but with some loss of colour on cover. (3)
