Australia, WWI, Souvenir of Voyage on an Australian Transport, a small folder featuring a photo of an Australian Transport ship and on one page is printed a message from Pte. H.W.Cuffe, 19th Reinfs., 21st Btn., Australian Imperial Forces, On Active Service, and inside the front cover is written in pencil, "To Miss Hazel Coleman, from Pte. H.W.Cuffe, 21st Battalion, A.I.F., Abroad, 22:7:17". Good very fine.

Ex C.Mitchell 5/11/2004.^Henry William Cuffe, labourer, age 21, born at Carlton, Vic; Enl.09Mar1917 at Melbourne, Vic; Emb.11May1917; multiple offences during his 2 years of service resulting in him being sentenced to Lewes Military Prison for threatening his superior officer, this was suspended due to VD treatment and return to unit due to shortages in troops; RTA 05Mar1919; Disch.25Mar1919.^With copy of Service File and other research.
