The Debenture entitles the Bearer to the sum of one hundred pounds per centum per annum, secured upon the Public Revenues of the Government of the Colony of Tasmania until repaid, dated at the Colonial Treasury, Hobart Town, Tasmania, 31st October 1867, with six original signatures including Thomas Gore Browne (1807-1887) Governor.
