Australian Commonwealth Military Forces, W.W.II triangular felt banners (58.5cm x 30cm). 'Army v R.A.A.F./ Invitation Boxing/ Tournament./ Showground. Sept. 1943' in four lines and large ACMF rising sun logo on brown felt; another with logo and 'A.I.F.' on brown felt; another with 'R.A.N.' and large naval logo on blue felt, first two banners with several tears and holes. Large postcard album with original snakeskin covers containing a wide selection of military related ephemera from the period 1938-1951. Includes Safe Conduct leaflet in five languages and Malayan flag from the communist insurgency period, military greetings and Christmas cards from various units and battalions (13) in Ceylon, Singapore, Hong Kong and U.K., Great World Arena wrestling promotion, Singapore for 1st May 1948, satirical cheque from the Bank of Health and Happiness Unlimited, Ostend, Belgium dated 25th December 1938 plus a number of press clippings and photos from Asia, Africa, Singapore and Hong Kong.(4)

Borneo, Labuan, W.W.II, Australian COmmonwealth Military Forces, trench art, ACMF rising sun logo encased within tear shaped clear plastic with an attatched aluminium bar for 'Borneo, Labuan' together with a design scene of palm trees, sea, sun and sailing ship; Brunei, military badge, crossed kris over an anchor, within a wreath, crown? and star above, the word 'BRUNEI' below, silvered brass (33 x 24mm).
