Great Britain, anti Euro advertising in the form of small stickers attached to the reverse of current U.K. coins one penny to one pound. Produced by a Welsh Anti Euro and Anti European Common Market campaign group, coins with the stickers were sold at up to two pounds each with some coins reaching circulation. Ten different slogans such as 'No to the Euro', 'Save the Pound', 'Pounds not Euros' and 'Say no to a Single Euro Currency'. Fine - extremely fine. (26)

Ireland, Hiberno-Norse issue penny, late Phase VI, end of 11th century and early first half 12th century, (0.206 grams), obv. derived from left profile bust of Aethelred II, rev. long cross type similar to that of Aethelred II, with hands in opposite corners, lis in one corner, (S.6136, SCBI Ulster [1984], Nos. 372 [same dies], cf.Spink 'Viking' Sale March 14, 2001 lot 1146). Cracked fine, fragile and very rare.
