Roman coins mostly needing conservation, third - fourth century A.D., antoninianii of Gordian III, Philip I and Severina, small bronze of Theodora, (S.3911); AE 20 of Magnentius (S.4018), and an as of Caracalla, issued in 209, rev. woman drawing out skirt, holding sceptre, two children before her (RIC -, known only for Geta RIC Pl.XVI, 8). The last apparently unpublished and very good, the Theodora good very fine, Magnentius very fine, others poor. (6)

Mercury holding Pegasus and caduceus, around TIOC SXAIOIC ANE**QKE*, dotted border, (Blum 'Numismatique D'Antinoos', JIAN Vol. XVI (1914), No.3A [p.36], Lawrence 51 [p.16], Klawans 1-2 [p.84-5]). Of good style, some evidence of bi-metallic surface, cracks in the edge of the flan from striking, otherwise good very fine, very rare.
