Hadrian, (A.D. 117-138), Paduan cast medal, after Giovanni Cavino, (22.8 grams), obv. bare head of emperor Hadrian to right, HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, rev. galley with two ranks of oars, Neptune at bow, above FELICITATI AVG, below COS III P P over SC, (Lawrence 47, Klawans 1, [p.76-77]) (illustrated); together with others, Galba (A.D. 68-9), (23.4 grams), obv. Galba head right, rev. emperor facing three soldiers, ADLOCVT in exergue, (cf.Lawrence 21, cf.Klawans 4 [p.52]); another a cast copy of Vitellius (A.D. 69), sestertius, (RIC 134). First of good style with attractive brown patina, second plugged, otherwise fine - very fine. (3)
