Egyptienne De Cyclisme, 2nd Tour International D'Egypte - Cycliste Amateur medal, 1955, in oxidised silver (60mm), by A.R., dome centre featuring a cyclist riding across a world globe, reverse, map of Egypt with location names along the race route. A few small spots of verdigris, otherwise very fine.

Finland, Champion Gymnastics Youth series medal, 1929, in .916 silver, hallmarked on edge, obverse, naked gymnast right with laurel leaf edge border, reverse, Finland arms in centre, around flowers and a ribbon scroll with the initials, 'F.G.&I.F.' (?) at right and 'S.V.& U.L.' (Suomen Voimistelu & Urheilu Liittovaltio) 'Finnish Gymnastics & Sports Federation' at the left. Toned, very fine.

Germany, commemorating the Battle of Hochstadt (Battle of Blenheim), 1704, Battle of Blenheim, between John Churchill, the Duke of Marlborough, 1650-1722 with the Holy Roman Empire's Prince Eugene of Savoy, against the forces of France, Wooden medal, 65mm, 16mm thick, (36.48g), with 10 minature portraits of rulers in Europe on one side, and busts of Prince Eugene and John Churchill in shiels above the battle scene below. Extremely fine, very unusual and very rare.

Germany, medal proclaiming the New Century, 1800, in silver (40mm) by C.I.Kruger second engraver to the Dresden Mint, featured on the medal is the word 'Australien' representing a new land of hope. Very early use of the word 'Australien' rather than 'New Holland' and the first in numismatics. Nearly extremely fine and rare.

Germany, medallic box (51mm) in white metal, 1914-1915, inside twelve lithographs, obverse, two soldiers, one German and one Austrian, standing at either side of an oak tree together with the German and Austrian coats of arms, at base the dates 1914-1915 and at right edge the name of medallist, C.M. Schwerdtner, Wien, reverse, two hands clasped over a sword, bordered by a laurel wreath, with legend, GOTT MIT VNS/VIRIBVS VNITIS, inside box are twelve double-sided roundels lithographed by Bertold Loffler with images and numbered 1-12 at top and they depict a soldier leaving home, battles on land and sea and in the air, and the adjoining graves of a German and an Austrian soldier and each scene is associated by number with a poetic text; two additional roundels (not part of the two numbered sequences) are mounted inside lid and base and each has a poetic text within a laurel border. Extremely fine.
