Ilkanids, Local Coinage, First Period, Baidu (Baydu) ibn Teraghai ibn Hulagu, (A.H. 694) (A.D. 1294), gold dinar, Tabriz mint but off flan, date A.H. 694 (off flan) = A.D. 1294, (A.2164, cf.M.1588 [silver dirhem]). Off centred, weak in places, good very fine and rare.

Weak in places, otherwise very fine, and scarce. (3)

Iran, Safavid, Shah Husayn I ibn Suleiman, (A.H. 1105-1135) (A.D. 1694-1722), silver rectangular (oblong) (five shahi), Tabriz mint, A.H. 1129 = A.D. 1716-1717, date and mint clearly legible inside lozenge on reverse, (A.2677, M.2079-2080, Farahbakhsh 128-7). Nearly extremely fine and scarce type.

Both coins have been mounted with the mount carefully removed, otherwise fine - nearly very fine, both rare. (2)
