New South Wales, five shillings or holey dollar, 1813, struck from a Mexico City Mint eight reales of Charles IIII 1802 (Mira/Noble 1802/9, dies A/9: I/9). With extra lip of metal on inner ring and small edge break at 2 o'clock, the countermarks virtually as struck, the `H'above the laurels easily identifiable, extremely fine, one of the finer holey dollars known and very rare thus.

Flan cracked, obverse condtermark worn before the coin was straightened from dishing (hence the crack) reverse countermark very clear. Fine/very fine and very rare.
