Japanese Occupation of Malaya - Penang, Indenture 39.5cm x 25cm for the purchase of land on Penang Island, dated 25th June 2603 (1943) between Choong Lye Hock Estates Limited and Lei Sai Leang of Beach Street, Penang, for the amount of $1917.65 in payment of land in the North East District of Penang. Signed and sealed by and in the presence of the Manager and secretary of the estate. A map and additional details of the registration of the land are included on the back. A rare land document of the Japanese occupation period. Fine-very fine.
