Netherland East Indies, The V.O.C. rectangular silver bar 146 x 40 x 33mm, of weight 1720 grams, countermarked with the VOC monogram 'Z' (Zeeland) above and 'M' (Middleburg) below with assay mark of G.V.D. overdouble head eagle set with a shield. Some corrosion on two side but not affecting the marks, the countermarks very fine and as a bar extremely rare.
