Phoenicia, Tyre, (c. 2nd century B.C. - 1st century A.D.), silver shekel or tetradrachm, (13.48 g), Tyre mint, uncertain date issued years 20-29 = 107-97 B.C., obv. laureate head of Melqarth beardless to right, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, carrying a palm, standing on prow of ship, club to left, above ..K, monogram HAP in right field, around **TUROU IERAS [KAI ASULOU]*, (S.5918, Cohen [p.502-503], cf.BMC 91, H.1618 [817]). Off centred with damage near the date, otherwise fine - nearly very fine.
