Parthia, Kingdom of, Vologases III, (c.A.D. 105-147), silver drachm, (3.354 grams), Ecbatana mint, obv. medium size bust wearing a diadem to left with short square triangular pointed long beard, hair in three waves, rev. archer seated right on throne, seven line inscription, monogram AT and dot, (cf.S.5831, Sellwood 78.7, Shore 416). Double struck on the reverse, otherwise nearly extremely fine.

Toned, good very fine.

Bactria, Kingdom of, Euthydemos I, (230-190 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.478 grams), obv. diademed head of Euthydemos to right, dotted border, rev. naked Herakles seated left on rock holding club set on pile of stones, **BASILEWS to left, **EUQUDHMOU*, PK monogram in field to right, (S.7516, M.94, Bop. Series 12 No.16, Pl.3). With a somewhat porous field, otherwise good very fine and rare.

Bactria, Kingdom of, Demetrios I, (205-190 B.C.), silver obol (diobol), (1.076 grams), Merv? mint, obv. diademed and draped bust of Demetrios to right wearing an elephant's scalp and head-dress, rev. young naked Herakles standing facing, crowning himself, and holding club and lion's skin, BASILEWS DHMHTPIOY, **F in field to left, (cf.S.7531, M.105d, Bop. Series 3C). Good very fine/very fine and very rare with this weight.

M.1.177.-, Bopearachchi Series 6, SNG ANS -). A new unlisted monogram variety, nearly very fine and rare with dealer ticket.

Athena standing to left, holding Nike in hand, **BASILEWS ARIARAQOU EUSEBOUS* around, to left and right monograms, **GA* in exergue, (cf.S.7285, Simonetta 20a). Both toned, very fine or better. (2)

Toned, nearly extremely fine and scarce.

Siculo-Punic, mint of the camp, (c.320-310 B.C.), silver tetradrachm of finest style, (16.738 grams), obv. wreathed head of Persephone (or Arethusa) to left, wearing triple pendant earring and necklace, four dolphins swimming around, rev. horse's head to left, palm tree behind, Punic legend, "MMHNT" below, border of dots, (S.6434, Rizzo Pl.66, 3; SNG Lloyd 1631 [same obverse die], Jenkins SNR 56, [Series 3a] 147 [same dies, O47/R132]). Extremely fine with light grey tone on the obverse.

Tanit left, rev. horse right head reverted, (S.6519, SNG Cop. 273). First with attractive dark tone good fine/nearly fine and very rare; second good very fine. (2)
