Chinese Imperial Government, bond for twenty five pounds, sterling with interest at 4«% payable on 1st March and 1st September each year from 1898, authorised by Imperial Edict of 2nd March 1898, officially communicated by the Tsung-Li-Yamen to the British and German legations in Peking. Written in German and English, black and red on white stock, dated Berlin, 1st March 1898 and with German and English stamps, together with eight interest coupons. With quarter folds, pinholes and damage to edges. Good fine.

Gaol Hobart, 31st March 1915, hand written document from Superintendent requesting the Sheriff in Hobart to write off the debt of two employers (one who died, the other dismissed), on official Government of Tasmania impressed seal paper; Roads Progress Report at Wilmot Settlement, December 1895 on official printed documented paper going to the Engineer in Chief, Hobart. South Australia, Warrant for Remission of Sentence and Discharge of Nicholas, a prisoner from the Labor Prison, having served twelve months of a four year term for Felony, signed and sealed, dated 17th December 1886 and with a handwritten note at top of page certifying that a copy of the warrant had been telegraphed and received; together with a handwritten copy of the telegraph sent, authorising the remitting of the sentence and the discharge of the above mentioned prisoner. Seal damaged on first document. (2)
