Cherry Tooth Paste pot lid, by John Gosnell & Co, in ceramic, features image of young Queen Victoria head left, c1870s; metal seal with countersunk image of a naked man with a dumbell and the details 'W.N.Kerr/Physical/Culturist', with wooden handle; nickel coated bronze miniature bottle bearing a brass label, 'Anheuser/Busch', unwinds at centre to reveal a corkscrew; half hunter stop watch in nickel, main dial has come loose, not in working order, back marked PATT.3/2037. Golf trophy, in silver by Hiramoto Silver Arts Works Co, Tokyo, decorated with a design of golf balls and a golf club at each side, lid featuring a golfer, mounted on a circular, black timber base (total height approx 30cm; weight excluding base .26kg), side of cup engraved in Japanese text (translated as Champion), plaque attached to base also engraved with Japanese text (translated as Jian Nian a Consul Cup). The decorative golf clubs affixed at either side have come away and need soldering back into place, otherwise good very fine.
