King of Spain), 1621-1665. silver cob eight Reales (38mm, 27.47 gm), Potosi Mint, Dated 1653-E (asayer E), obverse, crowned coat-of-arms, reverse, crowned Pillars of Hercules set on ocean waves, (KM.21, Calico 410, ME 6472). Very fine, with a few minor scratches and attractive example with two clear dates and a partial date, clear assayer letter and mint marks, well struck obverse displaying most aspects of the shield, with grey tone, original surfaces, and very rare.
