Palestine, Athenian deritative silver obol, (0.544 grams), issue c.4th century -332 B.C., obv. head of Athena to right wearing ivy crested helmet, eye in profile, rev. owl standing to right, head facing, in erect posture, olive twig and crescent behind, to right, **AQE*, all in incuse square, (cf.S.2541). Toned, off centred obverse, good very fine and very rare.

Bright, attractive round flan with sharp legends, slightly off centred, as struck good extremely fine or better and a rare date, and very rare variety.
