Very fine and rare.

Colony of New Australia, in Paraguay, 1895, one peso signed by F kidd, type with vignette of clasped hands with coat & shirt sleeves, type-face on the numerals is standard or sans serif (110 x 67mm). The date stamp unclear, appears to be ending in 5 (day month 95). Pieces missing near edge, holes, diagonal fold and water (?) stain otherwise very good and excessively rare, the first example we have handled and the only one of this type in private hands and is similar to Dame Mary Gilmore's example in the Mitchell Library.
