Miniature Winchester rifle, moving parts model with lift-up back sight, decorated timber stock, delicate engraving on barrel and trigger guard and ornately engraved at sides of metal works cover, this engraved on one side with the name, 'Ron Hayes', on the base of the cover is marked, 'MINIART RUSSIA', with metal shoulder guard at end of stock and this also engraved on top, engraving by Neal Richard Chapman, in a fitted timber case, felt lined and with a fitted plastic sign with the Winchester logo, also in the case is a miniature brass oiler container and five miniature replica cartridges marked on the base, 'W-W/45 COLT'. Uncirculated.

Flintlock pistol, 18th century, top of brass barrel inscribed, 'H.W.Mortimer London/Gun Maker To His Majesty', at one side with impressed hallmarks, crowned GP (definitive black powder proof for shotguns, muzzle loader barrels), crowned HM (H.W.Mortimer), crowned V (view mark), on the other side near the works is the maker's name again but nearly worn away, walnut stock, with timber ramrod below stock (total overall length approx 35cm). Very fine.

Pair of Swiss percussion duelling pistols, early 19th century, with accessories, side lock plates inscribed in stylised script, 'Ruoff a SoLeurs', the top of the barrels at the breech have gold inlaid 'Ruoff' stamps, with fluted walnut stocks, the accessories include pepper box nipple key, two timber and brass ramrods, bullet mould, 7 ball bullets, oil tin, pack of 100 Knall-Zundhutchen (caps), tin for caps with a few caps included, wooden mallet, powder dispenser, metal powder flask, ramrod worm (corkscrew patch puller), all stored in a polished timber case with brass plate on the lid inscribed in Gothic script, 'FT', inside the hinged-lidded case is felt lined with two compartments and fitted to accommodate the pistols and accessories, no key to lock on case and some marks on timber. Very fine.

Percussion miner's pistol, smooth 12 bore (12mm), 19th century, curved plain timber grip and on the rear edge is inset a small plaque which is inscribed, 'IA', some engraved decoration on side plates, below trigger guard and top plate, plain 63cm barrel and on the top is impressed, 'C-N 7079' and underneath are small crests; together with approx 45 percussion caps in a Ransom & Marles Bearing Co Limited box. The trigger and hammer stuck, probably needs some oil, otherwise fine.

Some minor wear to the thread, otherwise in good condition for its age.

Ottoman Empire, late 18th century, shamshir sword with forged wootz (Damscus watered) steel blade 79cm long, decorated at the top with gold koftgari work, bone grips with recesses for fingers, guard decoratively engraved on both sides, small double link chain from guard to pommel, leather covered scabbard with spiral stitching and mounted with large chased silver locket and chape, both of these with some decorative engraving, two mounting loops, total length including scabbard 95cm. Some small dents on the locket and chape silver coverings, and a very small edge chip on blade, otherwise fine.

Ottoman Empire, mid 19th century, yataghan sword with finely forged blade of twisted steel strips in a pattern known as 'Turkish Ribbon', length of blade 53.5cm, very richly decorated with gold koftgari work and inscriptions in Arabic letters on both faces, with silver bolsters and grip strap, set with coral stones, gilded silver grips, scabbard covered fabric (later) and mounted with large, very finely chased silver locket and chape with a fish head at the tip, total length including scabbard 71cm. Traces of hammering in the blade centre and some nicks to flat back edge, otherwise very fine and a very impressive Yataghan sword.

Ottoman Empire, 18th - 19th century, shamshir sword with a blade forged from high contrast wootz (Damascus watered) steel with strong clear pattern, blade length 79cm, bone grips with recesses for the fingers, grip strap, cross guard and scabbard mounts are silver as are the locket and chape, leather covered scabbard with its original classical spiral stitching, silver parts stamped with proof marking, the open top front edge of scabbard to enable ease of removal of blade has a drop-down guard, this loose, total length including scabbard 96.5cm. A few small spots with loss of leather on scabbard and some dents in silver locket and chape, otherwise very good.

Ottoman Empire, early 19th century, yataghan sword with 66cm blade in Damascus steel and with maker's mark and flat back edge, the handle is bone with flared ears and around the centre and overlaying onto the blade for a distance of 10cm is an elaborately carved, raised silver decoration, the scabbard of velvet with a gold bullion stripe down one side also has an elaborately carved silver locket (12cm) and chape (16cm), the top decorative locket section has a loop for attaching to a sword belt, total length including scabbard 82cm. Very fine.

Borneo, Dayak tribal sword, slightly curved blade (54cm), with egraved decoration on both sides of ricasso, bone handle with wrapping and decorative engraving at top with hair sticking out from the pommel, wooden scabbard with carved decorative sections and wrapped with coloured binding and also with hair hanging from the top, middle and bottom sections, behind the scabbard is a crudely made leather holder and a woven carry-cord (overall length in scabbard 68cm and without scabbard 66.5cm). The engraved section of the handle damaged on one side, the leather holder cracked and torn, the carry-cord broken at one end, otherwise very good.

British Naval sword, 19th century British Pattern 1827 by Manton & Co, England, with proved mark on ricasso, the sword blade (80cm) with floral decoration both sides and the British Royal arms on one side and a crowned (KC) fouled anchor on the other side, the fish skin wrapped handle with twisted wire and a lion's head pommel, the hand guard also decorated with a fouled anchor, the scabbard in black leather so for a Warrant Officer, with brass fittings at the locket, the chafe and in the centre, the locket with a raised shield bearing the name, 'Manton & Co, England' with a crown above (overall length in scabbard 97cm and without scabbard 95.5cm). The leather scabbard with loss of leather and cracks, otherwise fine.

Masonic Knights Templar sword, late 19th century, blade (71cm) ornately decorated with gilded background on both sides and features knights and other symbolism and on one side the Knight's name, 'William F. Wood', at the top near the guard is the maker's name, 'The M.C.Lilley & Co, Columbia, Ohio', the guard with the Knights Templar symbol on one side and a cross on the other, the ivory handle with the Knight's initials, 'WFW' on one side and the Knight's Templar symbol on the other side, the pommel is a metal knight's head in armour and with a short chain for attachment to guard, (chain needs a few links added at end), the scabbard with Masonic symbols at the locket and chafe and at the centre with the monogram initials, 'KM' (Knight of Malta), around the Knights Templar symbol on the locket is impressed, 'Be Thou Faithful Unto Death & I Will Give Thee A Crown By Life' (overall length in scabbard 93cm and without scabbard 89cm). Most silvering and gilding on the scabbard, handle and pommel missing, tiny bend at sword tip and some light oxidation on sword edge and on the nickel plated scabbard, otherwise good fine.

Indonesia, traditional Javanese kris, late 19th century, with hammered iron blade with raised bands of lighter material to give it texture, edges rough and not sharpened, a decorative bulbous silvered-copper disc separates the blade (33cm) from the handle of ivory intricately carved and 3-dimensional, the sheath is silvered and with a wooden locket/guard, one side of this with texture writing in what appears to be Chinese and English (?) (overall length in scabbard 53cm and without scabbard 45cm). Blade does not fit fully into scabbard, the scabbard with numerous dents, fine.
