Ladies gold mesh evening purse, c1920-1930, in 18ct yellow/rose gold (134mm across top x 136mm deep), the hinged opening with floral filigree on both sides, one side set with eight old cut diamonds (2.5mm - 3.8mm) and seven emerald cut sapphires, the purse has a chain link strap (240mm) and catch set with two (3.8x5.0mmh) cabachon cut sapphires, the two inside compartments lined in chamois cloth, total weight of purse is 282.22g. Very fine.
