Arab-Byzantine, Islamic issue as Umayyad Imperial Image coinage, (c.670-690 A.D.), AE fals (23mm), (3.74 g), Hims (Emesa) mint, obv.Crowned facing imperial bust, holding globus cruciger; K/AL/O/N (= "good") to left, bi-hims to right; rev. Large cursive M; star between wavy lines above, E/M/I - C/H/C across, tayyib (= "good") in exergue, (A.3524, Walker, Arab-Byzantine 57; cf.SICA 1, 548). Double struck on reverse, fine and scarce.
