Arab-Byzantine, Islamic issue as Umayyad Imperial Image coinage, (c.670-690 A.D.), AE fals (23mm), (3.74 g), Hims (Emesa) mint, obv.Crowned facing imperial bust, holding globus cruciger; K/AL/O/N (= "good") to left, bi-hims to right; rev. Large cursive M; star between wavy lines above, E/M/I - C/H/C across, tayyib (= "good") in exergue, (A.3524, Walker, Arab-Byzantine 57; cf.SICA 1, 548). Double struck on reverse, fine and scarce.

Two Byzantine style imperial figures standing facing, supporting between them labarum resting on three steps, rev. Christ standing facing, holding Gospels. (A.1850, S&S Type 73). Fine - very fine, dark brown patina, areas of flat strike, scarce.
