China, Lunar Calendar Set that includes 12 proof quality fan-shaped (44x26.8mm) 24-carat gold plated lunar year commemorative medals arranged in a circle around a larger (65mm) circular medal depicting Buddha with a reverse Ying and Yang design, each of medals with the various lunar animals on the reverse have a common obverse design featuring a view of the Forbidden City of China. In a prestigious lacquered wooden box with a central gold design similar to the set and with an English text booklet certificate number 4830, all stored in another timber case, also with set design on lid, FDC.
