Bukkulla Vineyards, McIntyre River, Inverell, one pound currency note, dated January 20th 1870 (date written), No.134, no watermark, value tablets in upper corners and arms in centre, on front Pay K--- (handwritten) or Bearer the sum of ONE POUND Stg and to lower left 'Messrs Wyndham, Dalwood Vineyards, Branxton N.S.W.', signed by F.W.Wilkinson. Note is cross cancelled, handwritten 'Paid / Feby 11/90' and stamped Commercial Banking Company of Sydney / INVERELL, all within rectangular ornamental border, blue on white (Vort Ronald type 1 [p.23 & 25] Fig 32, illustrates a similar example and similar type illustrated Vort Ronald..Shinplaster..p.24). Five pin holes, stains, otherwise good fine.
