Pegasus to left, rev. Athena head helmeted to left, (S.2281). First very porous and cracked, second porous, and third with heavy scratches, otherwise very good - nearly fine. (3)

Off centred on obverse with mouth and chin off flan, but attractive reverse, otherwise good fine and scarce.

Thrace, kingdom of Lysimachos, (323-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.16 grams), Pella mint, issued 286/5-282/1 B.C., obv. head of Alexander to right, with diadem and horn of Ammon, rev. Athena enthroned to left, supporting Nike, with wreath, HP monogram in outer left field, KA monogram in inner left field, (Thompson 248, SNG Oxford 3754, cf.S.6814). Slightly off centre on the obverse, struck in very high relief, otherwise good very fine and rare thus.

Macedon, kingdom of Alexander III (the Great) (336-323 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.51 grams), Mesembria mint, issued 125-65 B.C., obv. head to r., of Herakles, clad in lion skin, rev. Zeus enthroned holding eagle and sceptre, helmet to l. in field, monograms in left field and under throne. (Price 1107A, S.-). Large flan with attractive well centred obverse, distinctive head and lion skin for such a late issue, uneven reverse surface, otherwise extremely fine/good very fine and a very rare variant.
