Description
Italy, Lucania, Thurium, silver didrachm (c.350-280 B.C.), obv. head of Athena to r. with Skylla on Athenian helmet hurling rock, rev. bull butting to r., legend above, torch on side in exergue (SNG Cop. 1419, SNG ANS 1092, cf.S.447). Off centred on obverse with mouth and chin off flan, but attractive reverse, otherwise good fine and scarce.
