Queen Dido bust to right, legend in Greek **DIDW BASILISSA*, rev. view of Carthage, with galleys in harbour before it, to left worn trace of legend **KARCHDWN*, (Kress Collection No.368 [p.69]). All known specimens appear to be cast as is this example, original was die struck, holed, very fine and very rare.
