Sharp FDC and brilliant, higher values all very rare. (6)

Venetian copy, of multiple gold ducat made in India, (10gms), the issue with figures having a distinctive Hindu character, obv. barbarous letters around, two standing figures, rev. four armed Hindu god facing in dotted oval, barbarous legend around, (cf.Ives NN&M 128, Pl.XIV, 7 for similar type of ducat weight). Good very fine.

Indian test pieces, Duncan Stratton and Co, Bombay, as a test piece for half rupee, by Greenwood and Batley Limited, Albion Works, Leeds, with tiger on obverse and monogram with legend on reverse, (Pr. SNC Sep 1960) undated but circa 1904. Attractive brown patina just hints of mint red, uncirculated and rare.
