G. Blaxcell, handwritten, Sydney, March 20th 1812, two hundred and fifty pounds, payable to Captain Joseph James, on or before 24th June 1812. Accompanied by a printed form of a notice of protest printed by George Howe, Sydney, 1813, signed by Ellis Bent, Judge Advocate of the Territory of New South Wales, showing that Blaxcell had not paid by 16th August 1813. Stained on right hand side, good fine and extremely rare.

Howe, Government printer with Sydney Gazette. Unissued form with slight foxing otherwise fine and very rare.

Wyndam/Dalwood Vineyards/Branxton N.S.W., imprint De Gruchy & Leigh, SC Sydney, clear watermark "Whatman/1865", bank rubber stamped twice Commercial Banking Company of Sydney Inverell, cross cancelled by hand in black ink (MVR type 1.). Bottom right corner with 3 mm bevel cut, two pairs of minute pin holes near top right corner, otherwise extremely fine and rare in this condition.

Van Diemen's Land, bill on the English Treasury, Commissariat Office, Hobart Town, 20 August 1823 (182 printed), No.145, to Capt. James Dixon, for ?150.0.0, hand signed by Lt. Governor William Sorell and A. Moodie, black on white, unwatermarked paper, for presentation to Whitehall, London, engraved by Samuel Clayton (MVR illustrates a similar example Fig.12 [p.11-12]). Extremely fine, and very rare, probably the only example in private hands.

Tamar Bank, Launceston, Bank Share for fifty pounds, dated First September 1835 (183 printed) No.172, printed on vellum, issued to William Field, signed by Bank Directors Philip Oakden and Lewis Gilles. An extremely rare example of this early bank, no banknotes are known to have survived. Some folds and pinholes, otherwise nearly extremely fine and extremely rare.
