New South Wales, brass standard oblong weight for four pennyweights with lion countermark (Withers 15) and lion over N.S.W. all within shield, another for five pennyweights with horse (?) or dog over N.S.W. within sunken shield. Appears to be c1855 for checking small ammounts of gold. Very fine and very rare. (2)
