Russia, program in French, the language at the time of the Russian Imperial Court aristocracy, for a performance in 1894 of the play, Romeo & Juliette, and the ballet, Le Reveil de Flore, at one of the Imperial palaces at Peterhof, the Imperial Tsarist Estate, under the auspices of Tsar Alexander III,decoratively printed by K.A.Fischer at Moscow, four pages inside illustrated in grey, sepia and blue tones, gold blocked front and back cover featuring the Imperial crest and cypher on an ornate floral decorated border framing a coloured illustration of the palace and gardens, reverse bears the name Peterhof at the top left and the date of the performance, 28 Juillet 1894, at the bottom right and with a harp decorated with a golden laurel spray in the centre, at the left side on the front is the original light blue decorative ribbon. Some foxing to the outside border of the cover otherwise extremely fine and rare.
