Presentation Fob Photo Locket, in gold (tested as 15ct; 4.16g; 22x28mm), no maker, features an opening locket with provision for two photos, on the outside obverse engrave decorated and inscribed, "SAD", and on the reverse also engrave decorated and inscribed, "Presented/to/S.A.Davis./By his Fellow Employees/As a mark of esteem/On his leaving for the Front./13.8.15.", with velvet bag. On the inside where the photos go with many scratches, the outside very fine.

Prize Fob, in gold (9ct; 2.68g; 32x22mm), reverse inscribed, "Squad Drill/Rfl Exce/1918./Sgt/Anschau. J." Very fine. Ex Smalls Auction lot 374 1/12/2018. Could be either father or brother (both named John) of the two Anschau brothers who served on the Western Front. Both served on Gallipoli - Gilbert Goldie in 1 FA and Cecil Edwin in 5 FA and Gilbert was KIA at Bullecourt. Father John was a Post Master at Parramatta and died 15 July 1967. Brother John was a chemist and later a stockbroker and received his brother's Gallipoli medallions. With research.

H.W.Cuffe, 21st Battalion, A.I.F., Abroad, 22:7:17". Good very fine.
