Vintage Fireman's helmet, made of brown canvas and compressed cork in the London Fire brigade pattern, c1938-41, with thin black head band and worn canvas chin strap, the leather lining marked by maker, 'The Cromwell Protector Helmet, Made in England', no badge. Some loss of leather at edges, lining roughly re-glued, otherwise good.

Minor stains in left margin and light scattered foxing and age related toning, some rippling along top edge of page, otherwise very good for age.
