1911 Proof Half Crown, George V, 1910-1936. S-4011, ESC-3710, Davies 1661 (S). 14.10g. Chamfered rim. Reverse -It is almost identical to the 1902 design except for the absence of a beaded circle between the garter and legend. (modified De Saulles design with no initials as performed by the Mint's engravers and die sinkers). A central crowned Shield of the Royal Arms scalloped and cusped with Garter and collar. The miniature St George and dragon pendant at the base of the garter is replaced with floral decoration. Choice, attractive lightly toned FDC and scarce.
