1911 Proof Shilling, George V, 1910-1936. S-4013, ESC-3800, Davies 1792 Dies 3 A (S). 5.61g. Reverse -Lion passant regardant standing upon the Imperial Crown with a decorated inner circle between the legend and now a denticular border instead of the plain 1902 version. No designer's initials ( internal Mint modification of De Saulles Royal Crest) a copy of the 1902 design. The legend reads FID: DEF: IND: IMP: with the date split by the crown and ONE SHILLING below the decorative inner circle. Brilliant attractively toned FDC.
