WWI poster, titled Record of The Australian Imperial Force in the Great War 4th Aug.1914 - 28th June 1919, features images of senior commanding officers, bravery medals and unit colour patches and other statistical information, framed under perspex in a large dark timber carved frame (approx 57x70cm). Foxing and much spotting on underside of glass, otherwise very fine.

WWII, Proclamation by General Sir Thomas Albert Blamey GBE, KCB, CMG, DSO, ED, Commander-In-Chief Australian Military Forces, issued to the peoples of Timor, The Celebes, Manado, Borneo, The Residency of Ternate, Amboina, Ceram, The Kai Islands, Aroe Islands, Tanimbar Islands, The Lesser Sundas and Dutch New Guinea, signed first day of October 1945, divided into three sections, the first written in English, the second in Dutch and the last in the local language, the Australian coat-of-arms at the top and with the message in each of the languages that the Japanese have been defeated and that forces under General Blamey will be maintaining law and order until the lawful government of the Netherlands East Indies is operational. An original document with a few small holes and some small edge tears and foxing, otherwise fine and an historic document.

WWII Japanese Surrender, envelope stamped, 'H.M.A.S. "Shropshire"/Official Signing Of/Japanese Surrender', addressed to Mrs C.F.Bourke at North Sydney and with a 3 pence brown Australian postage stamp with rubber stamp cancellation in Japan, the envelope is covered front and back with signatures that appear to be of crew members on the heavy cruiser Shropshire in Tokyo Bay for the official surrender. Cut on three sides to open and with some edge tears, otherwise fine.

Australia, WWII, various wartime correspondence with Pte T.G.Paine, serving overseas in the AIF, including one 4 pages, another 5 pages and another 6 pages, all neatly handwritten from the same lady in Uralla, NSW to a soldier named Tom (determined to be Pte Tom Paine) detailing problems caused by his wife's actions in Uralla while he was absent overseas, and others relating to the well-being of his wife and family including one child hospitalised along with his wife. Fine - very fine. (7)
