Egypt, Middle Kingdom, 12th dynasty, (cB.C. 1991-1802), bronze statuette of Osiris, depicted mummiform with atef crown, forehead decorated with a Uraeus, wearing a pharaonic beard, left hand holding crook, right hand a flail, both symbols of pharaonic power, (149mm high). Very fine with attractive green patina, rare.
