Bill of Exchange, G.Blaxcell, handwritten, Sydney, March 20th 1812, two hundred and fifty pounds, payable to Captain Joseph James, on or before 24th June 1812. Accompanied by a printed form of a notice of protest printed by George Howe, Sydney, 1813, signed by Ellis Bent, Judge Advocate of the Territory of New South Wales, showing that Blaxcell had not paid by 16th August 1813. Stained on right and left hand side, good fine and extremely rare. (2)

New South Wales, five shillings or holey dollar, 1813 (Mira-Noble 1807/4) struck on a Charles IIII Potosi Mint eight reales 1807 P.J. (die I/3-A/3). The countermarks extremely fine and well struck, the matrix extremely fine, overall an extremely fine holey dollar without any "dishing", as such of considerable significance being one of the finest known and very rare.

Bolivia, Charles III, eight reales, 1807 PJ (Potosi) (KM.73), the original matrix for the Chapman holey dollar was an example of this coin. Together with the Numismatic Association of Victoria Commemorative medallion in oxidised silver plate depicting the Chapman holey dollar as designed by Ray Jewell for the 150th anniversary of the issuing of the holey dollar and dump, and the medalet for the NAV exhibition in Melbourne Town Hall October 26.27.28 1964 (C. G/5 and 1964/4). Extremely fine. (3)
