France, Anne of Brittany, uniface cast bronze metal, 110mm, a fine cast modern copy of the reverse of the famous Louis XII and Anne of Brittany medal of 1499, obv. blank, rev. Anne wearing the royal crown, against a background of fleurs-de-lys to left and ermines to right, legend around with lion of Lyon at the 6.00 position. Dated 1499 at the end of the legend. Very fine.

Cal.*" around, top suspension brooch with eagle standing on scroll with "Golden Gate Medal" across, two crossed rifles behind, pin back, seperated from medal by two pieces of oval link chain. 1mm "V" shape test cut piece missing from edge at 4 o'clock, break in right eagles wing, otherwise extremely fine and rare.
