Attica, Athens, but a contemporary Palestine-Samaria Neapolis issue, silver obol, (0.856 grams), issue c.4th century -332 B.C., obv. head of Athena to right wearing ivy crested helmet, eye in profile, rev. owl standing to right, head facing, in erect posture, olive twig and crescent behind, to right, **AQE, all in incuse square, (cf.S.2541). Toned, off centred obverse, very fine and very rare.

Off centred on the reverse, weak in places, has been cleaned, otherwise fine and rare.
