New South Wales, five shilliings or holey dollar, 1813, struck from a Charles IIII Mexico City Mint eight reales dated 1792 (dies II/7-B/3, not listed in Mira/Noble). Well struck countrmarks, the H for Henshall weak as usual on this die, the eye of the king visible on the original matrix (coin) thus making this an attractive holey doller, lightly toned very fine, (the countermarks good very fine) most rare, especially in this condition. From an old Tasmanian family and only recently discovered.
