British sailor hand decorated medallion, in brass (38mm), with bracket suspender, obverse, three leaf clover over a shield with a pair of dice in one quarter and a cup for throwing the dice in the opposite quarter, reverse, a battle ship and a laurel wreath and inside the wreath are the words, 'Fortuna/Vin-Cit/Omnia' (Fortune Wins Everything). Some tone spots, otherwise very fine.

Plaster casting of Army badge, features a grave headstone type casting (approx 15.5x16.5x3.3cm) and featuring the British Pioneer Corps badge (KC), and on the reverse is written in black texture, 'May Last Regt/After World/War II./Palistine (sic) 2 ? yrs/(signed - looks like) I McKinnon Capt'. A few small chips and some dirty marks, otherwise very fine.

Presentation award, featuring an aircraft atop a metal extension pole that fits into a domed base and painted on one side of the base is, 'S-43/Sikorsky/Amphibion', on the opposite side is painted, 'Presented To/R.A.Rutherford/Nov.24th 1936', under the base is marked in relief, 'C. Crowley & Sons/Sydney'; also a trench art triangular shaped white metal ashtray with a small aircraft at one end, this with part of tail missing. The mounted aircraft missing decals and damaged with some missing bits, otherwise very good; the second item fine except for damage to aircraft. (2)

WWI, trench art, a flower bowl (height approx 14.5cm), made from a brass shell casing from a standard German field gun, with flared top and sides with engraved patterned floral decoration and around the bottom circular beaded panels, the casing marked on the base, 'St (Strengthened)/Rh M.F. (Rheinische Metallwaren (und Maschinen) Fabrik/DEZ 1916 (December 1916)/Dusseldorf/Sp61' and also at an angle near M.F. is 194. The flared top with some edge bumps, otherwise fine.

Australia, trench art shell casing vase, size unknown as base markings removed but thin, the steel casing is fitted into a cast darkened silvered tree stump arrangement and with a koala and her joey on her back; a 2 pounder shell casing vase in brass, the base dated 1916, with a hammered pattern. The first very fine, the second with edge nicks and pitting, otherwise good. (2)

Trench art, chromed artillery shell used to make a vase, the base stamped 2 Pr No.1 Mk II, also Lot 109 BPF X8 in a circle, N beside an upright arrow, this over 1939, other markings as well, affixed at one side is a small Rising Sun badge (KC) in bronze and then silvered, some of this worn off and some of the chrome worn; also a large crystal glass rod (40cm), with circular pattern on the entire length and with flat knobs at both ends, a centre plain panel is marked in high relief, '1041'. The first with small bump to the turned top edge, the second with some chipping to one of the flat ends of the glass rod, otherwise fine - very fine. (2)

WWI, trench art, artillery shell vases, features a pair of brass 75mm shell casings with headstamps for, ' D.C.P. Co' (Dominion Copper Products Co of Canada), each with a pair of fancy handles and at the front is a rampant lion on its hind legs and with a crown above, each casing is inscribed, 'Nieupont' (a French aeroplane company that built racing aircraft before WWI and then fighter aircraft during WWI). Very fine. (2)

Co 1943, with a centrepiece made from a 40M/M II C.F.AG/C 1942 shell base, and fitted to this is a large circular section that rotates and fitted on top of this is a model of WWII fighter aircraft, missing propeller, in silvered brass, although most silvering missing. Fine.

Trench art, book ends made from aircraft starter engine shell casings (2), both marked on base, 'Cart Elec. Eng. Start MF 65/34 and 23 ME/65', with smaller shell casings fitted as handles, all items chromed, inside the large casings is three quarters filled with what appears to be concrete, on one side of each is inscribed, 'Phan Rang/67 - 68'. With some dents on edges of casings and oxidation on handle arms, otherwise fine. (2)

Trench art, the lower section of a brass 18Pr artillery shell casing with various base markings, half of the casing cut away and a swinging carry handle fitted, at the full side two cartridges have been fitted, inside the base is provision for a small flame and this with a crudely made cover; another smaller brass shell casing with various markings on the base and crudely fitted at each side are smaller brass shell casings, the fitting has been done by soldering which is clearly visible. Trench art, 1943 artillery shell lower section with holed brass shell fitted inside and this with a rod to which is attached a brass fighter aircraft, missing propeller; a crudely cast brass base with RAAF badge, in the centre is provision for a photo and at one end is a curved rod to which is attached a brass and white metal WWII bomber aircraft, some propellers loose; a small crudely cast brass ashtray with resting provision for three cigarettes. Trench art, ashtray made from the base of a brass artillery shell, the base with 'F/Japanese character/6/crossed canons/circle with 3 dividers/Japanese character', upright in the centre is a large machine gun shell case with cartridge fitted; also a container made from the brass base of a shell casing marked '4.5 in Howr/II/OT3365' and other markings as well as 1917, with rolled over top edge and three circular lines around and with O S N Co (Orient Steam Navigation Co) on one side above the circular lines.
