Great Britain, warning plaque to poachers, struck in bronze (approx size 10x11.5cm), affixed to a larger timber plaque and believed to be a copy of the original large size and then sold in local markets, the sign bears the arms of the Duke of Gumby and then the message, 'TAKE NOTICE THAT AS FROM TODAYS DATE/POACHERS SHALL BE SHOT/ON FIRST SIGHT AND IF PRACTICABLE/QUESTIONED AFTERWARDS./By Order:J.R.BRAMBELLE Head Gamekeeper to/His Grace the Duke of Gumby./1st November 1868'.
