WWII, Royal Navy, H.M.S. Vernon, small presentation tray in silver (10.1x7.3cm), hallmarked for London 1924 by maker 'C & R/C' (Charles & Richard Comyns), inside the tray is inscribed, 'Chief Wren.D.Renwick/[crest of HMS Vernon]/from Ward Room Officers./H.M.S.Vernon./28 Aug.1939 - 25 Nov.1942'. Hairlines and a few small dents on base, otherwise very fine.

WWI, trench art, artillery shell vases, features a pair of brass 75mm shell casings with headstamps for, ' D.C.P. Co' (Dominion Copper Products Co of Canada), each with a pair of fancy handles and at the front is a rampant lion on its hind legs and with a crown above, each casing is inscribed, 'Nieupont' (a French aeroplane company that built racing aircraft before WWI and then fighter aircraft during WWI). Very fine. (2)

Australia, WWII, trench art, a 25 pounder II shell casing in nickel silver, the base marked for MC indicating that it was made at the Guns Ammunition Factory at Finsbury, South Australia, affixed at the side is a nickel coated Rising Sun hat badge (KC). A small area with some scratches and the whole case needs cleaning and polishing, otherwise very fine.

WWII, trench art, silvered metal model of a spitfire mounted on a silvered bullet and casing fitted to a plastic base; also a brass model of what also appears to be a spitfire mounted on a rod fitted to a large metal map of Australia, suitable for an ashtray; very large shell casing base, most markings unclear, made into an ashtray and fitted in the centre with a cartridge and shell casing and mounted on top of this is a matchbox holder, fitted around the sides of the casing are four cigarette holders, one of these is loose, also on the front are the brass initials, 'RAN'; another ashtray made from the base of a British 25 pounder artillery shell casing, fitted with four cigarette holders and each of these is above a small cartridge. Both models of the aircraft without propeller, the first with some loss of silvering and the plastic base cracked, the second with a few bumps and the map with some oxidation, otherwise very good - good fine. (4)

WWI trench art, includes a brass bullet cartridge which features a small knife blade when the copper bullet head is removed from the cartridge, the cartridge is marked, 'S [illegible number that would be code for type of metal casing]/DM (Deutsche Munitionsfabriken [Karlsruhe])/4 (April)/(19)18'; also a steel bullet cartridge which features a small pencil when the steel bullet head is removed from the cartridge, the cartridge is marked, 'S67 (steel case code)/S (patrone or spitzer bullet)/3 (March)/(19)18'. Very good; fine. (2)

Argentina, Model 1909 short sword bayonet with steel blade stamped on the ricasso on one side, 'Modelo Argentino 1909', and on the other side is the maker's name, 'Weyersburg Kirschbaum & Co, Solingen', with metal guard, this numbered A01236, with timber and steel handle, the steel pommel stamped RA on one side, with steel scabbard also numbered A01236. The metal toned and some silvering to pommel missing, otherwise very good.

Australia, MK1 paratroopers machete bayonet with steel blade with upright broad arrow on one side in the ricasso, with steel guard and timber and steel handle, the handle with stamped number on one side that is difficult to read but looks like SLAZ43, the pommel stamped OA on the top and 3276 on one side, in a khaki canvas scabbard with difficult to read markings but can read 1944. The scabbard in poor condition and damaged, the machete dark toned and fine and rare.
